Every hero needs a name
This hero name generator mixes classic comic-book naming patterns: a title plus a power word (Captain Comet, Doctor Flux), a word plus a suffix (Voltstrike, Ravenwing), or a bold combination (Night Falcon-X). Switch to Villain mode for darker titles like Baron, Overlord and The Dread. Each name is paired with a random superpower — flight, time manipulation, talking to animals — to kick-start an origin story.
Kids use it for superhero birthday parties and dress-up games, writers and game designers use it to brainstorm, and teachers use it for creative-writing prompts: “write the first page of this hero’s origin story.” With dozens of words in each part there are thousands of combinations. Combine it with the random character generator to give your hero a flaw and a goal.
