Every Pokémon from Kanto to Paldea
This random Pokémon generator draws from the full National Pokédex, from Bulbasaur (#1) to Pecharunt (#1025), grouped into the nine main-series generations. Pick one Pokémon or a whole party of six, filter to a single region, and each result tells you which generation it debuted in. Prefer suspense? Load a random set onto the Pokémon wheel and spin.
Trainers use it for challenge runs: a random team for a Nuzlocke or randomizer-style playthrough, a “monotype” starter, or a random Pokémon to draw, cosplay or build a competitive set around. Teachers and parents use the wheel for quick Pokédex trivia — spin, then name its type or evolution. Regional and alternate forms are counted once under their base species. Pokémon is a trademark of Nintendo, Game Freak and The Pokémon Company; this is an unofficial fan tool.

Frequently asked questions
How many Pokémon can the generator pick from?
All 1,025 species in the National Pokédex across Generations 1–9 (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar and Paldea).
Can I generate a random Pokémon team without duplicates?
Yes. Set “How many?” to 6 and press Generate — results within a draw never repeat.
Are legendary and mythical Pokémon included?
Yes, they are part of the National Pokédex list. Remove them from the wheel’s entry list if your challenge bans them.
Does it include regional forms and Megas?
Each species is listed once by its base name. Alolan, Galarian, Hisuian and Paldean forms and Mega Evolutions are not listed separately.
