Fantasy names that sound like they belong
A good D&D name should tell the table something before your character says a word. This generator builds names from syllable tables designed for each ancestry: flowing, vowel-rich elven names (Laeriel, Caelthir), hard-consonant dwarven names with clan names (Dagrim Ironfist), cosy halfling names, guttural orc names, long tinkering gnome names, infernal or “virtue” tiefling names and draconic dragonborn names with the clan written first in their culture.
Because names are assembled from parts rather than pulled from a short list, you get thousands of combinations and far fewer repeats — ideal for game masters who need a tavern full of NPCs in a hurry. Filter by race and gender, generate a batch, and copy the ones you like into your notes. It’s an unofficial fan tool and works for Pathfinder, homebrew worlds and fantasy fiction too.
