Party-friendly truth or dare, decided by the wheel

This truth or dare wheel removes the awkward “uh… truth, I guess” moment. Each player spins, and the wheel decides whether it’s a truth or a dare. The result card then draws a random prompt from that pile: eighteen truths (“What’s your most irrational fear?”) and eighteen dares (“Talk in an accent for three rounds”). Everything is designed for mixed groups of teens and adults — silly, not mean.

You set the tone. Add more “Truth” or “Dare” slices to tilt the odds, or swap the prompts entirely by copying them into the main wheel. A few ground rules keep it fun: anyone can pass once per game, no dares that are unsafe or involve touching someone without consent, and what’s said in the circle stays there. Want a forfeit for skipped turns? Spin the punishment wheel.

How to use the Truth or Dare Wheel

    1. Sit in a circle and pass the phone, or put the wheel on a TV.
    2. The player whose turn it is presses Spin the wheel.
    3. Answer the truth or do the dare shown on the result card.
    4. Skipped your turn? Spin the punishment wheel.

    Sample truths and dares

A few prompts from the deck, so you know what to expect:

    • Truth: What's the most embarrassing thing that happened to you at school?
    • Truth: Who was your first crush?
    • Truth: What's the biggest lie you've ever told?
    • Truth: What's a secret talent nobody here knows about?
    • Dare: Do your best impression of someone in the room.
    • Dare: Talk in an accent for the next three rounds.
    • Dare: Do 15 jumping jacks.
    • Dare: Sing the chorus of the last song you listened to.

    Frequently asked questions

Is this truth or dare wheel appropriate for kids?

The prompts are written to be party-friendly for teens and adults with no explicit content. Parents of younger children should read through them first.

Can I change the odds of getting a dare?

Yes. The wheel starts with two Truth and two Dare slices (50/50). Add another “Dare” entry to make dares more likely.

How many truth and dare prompts are there?

Eighteen truths and eighteen dares, picked at random each time you land on that slice.

    What happens if someone refuses?

Agree on a rule before you start — a common one is a forfeit from the punishment wheel.
